Welcome to HI-Woodford!
Swim, fish, boat, canoe, bike, and hike on 120 scenic acres, three miles from the Appalachian Trail. Hike the Long Trail which runs the length of the state and connects to the Appalachian Trail. Visit historic Bennington, Vermont's first chartered town and home to Bennington College. Don't miss the city's summer concerts. Attend a wide variety of plays performed by the Oldcastle Theatre Company at the Center for the Arts. A visit to the Bennington Museum is worthwhile to see the largest public collection of the works of the famous painter Grandma Moses. Be sure and try Vermont's famous cheddar cheese and maple syrup!
