Neverending Neighborhood Happy Hour (For City Center Hostel Guests Only)
Olive / 743 Larkin St.(between Ellis and O'Farrell)/ Right around the corner from the City Center Hostel, Olive is a favorite of the European students who live at the hostel (through the EF language school). Small, crowded, and trendy, it's a little upscale with pop and techno music, high energy, great cocktails and wine (but a smaller beer selection), and delicious small plates. Our guests get: $3 well drinks, $4 draft beers, $2 Bud or Bud Light bottles, $5 wines by the glass*, $7 cheese or pepperoni pizzas, *Some restrictions may apply.
Lush Lounge / 1221 Polk St. (between Sutter and Bush)/ Spacious and relaxed, Lush Lounge has a really comfortable and chill vibe. They've got a wide selection of beers on tap, good cocktails, and they're great for socializing. The open-air front, comfy benches, and big, classy wood tables make it feel really fresh and pleasant. Our guests get: $3 Bud Light draft, $4 champagne by the glass, $5 well drinks, $5 cosmos, $6 margaritas.
Gangway / 841 Larkin St. (between O'Farrell and Geary)/ Gangway is a quintessential San Francisco mixed-orientation (gay and straight) dive bar. It's really "American," low key, and very friendly to all! You'll always feel welcomed like a local. It's a dark little enclave to duck in for a beer and a shot of whiskey -- and the kind of place where everyone is either staring into the bottom of their glass or having a deep conversation about the things that really matter. Our guests get: All-day happy hour prices on all drinks, $2.50 Budweiser draft, Free bar snacks on the Hostel Pub Crawl.
