Donna Stewart has been named Vice President of Human Resources for HI-USA.  Donna started on January 23, and joins us from the Association of American Medical Colleges where she was Senior Director of Human Resources for 12 years. In that time, the AAMC staff grew from 300 to 600+. Her broad experience in recruitment, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee relations and staff training and development will be a great benefit to HI-USA.   In her new position, Donna is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Javier Bujanda has been promoted by the Golden Gate Council to Director of Finance and Operations.  He has been with the council since 2004, most recently serving as Finance Director.

Kelly Smith has joined HI-Boston as Director of Marketing & Sales for the new Boston hostel (opening April 2012). She has worked in sales and conference services for resort properties in Colorado, and in public relations in Boston.  She recently completed a dual masters degree in marketing and integrated marketing communications from a San Diego State University/University of Malta international program.
