NEW E-membership
$18.00 (Open to all ages. Valid for one year and available only through international hostel bookings on hihostels.com. This e-membership provides access to the global HI hostel network, but does not include additional member benefits offered through the HI-USA membership categories outlined above.
When you join online or call our customer service department, you will receive your membership kits in about two weeks. If you are in need of your membership card immediately, contact or visit a council (local chapter), hostel or authorized membership selling agent.
Your membership kit includes a membership guide, membership card, U.S. hostelling map, eKit communication booklet and discounts.
There are several shipping options available to expedite your delivery. Please allow 1 day for processing on all UPS shipments. Note that memberships ordered with UPS shipping over the weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) will be sent on Monday.
Non U.S. residents can now purchase a Hostelling International USA (Adult or Senior category) membership. Group, Youth and Life category Hostelling International USA memberships are still only available to U.S. residents. To find the closest Hostelling International office in your home country, visit www.hihostels.com.
